ARTIST'S STATEMENT Jessica Snoblen This is dedicated to all that I have encountered and addressed as a place to call home. For every atmosphere I have familiarized myself with for a given period of time, I still am left with the same vision in my mind. The hazy, undefined future that will one day bring absolute contentment and peace. No matter where I find myself, the person I am will always wish upon a new place off in the distance of the unknown. From the farmland in which I was raised to the cities I have relocated in, I still long to be somewhere else. My dream is to travel the world, to take in every glorious environment. For I am in search of the perfect paradise: The place to really call home. In all reality, I know the only way to reach this quest is to get my head out of the clouds and quit wanting to be somewhere that I am not. To find home is to find happiness anywhere I roam, the happiness within myself.
