Laura Ouellette

When I got blessed with the opportunity to go to Fiji, I knew it wasn't going to be the typical tourist trip. Especially in light of the fact that I was going with Mrs. Mara Fulmer, and that I took a suitcase stuffed full of Bibles, videos, cassettes etc... to give away. It was an experience of a lifetime, jammed packed with the most interesting things to do and see! ...And the Bibles, they went so quickly, I could have given a semi load away just as easily. The Christian people are so hungry and appreciative of these things. I promised them I would do my best to send more. ...Well, that's another whole project that has begun to take form. I have connected with our 'Missionettes' group at church. The leader is so excited to work with me and involve her students with this missionary project. We will be corresponding with 10 year old Melaia, and her school in the village of Namuamua. I will never forget my brothers and sisters in Fiji. We will always be united now for a common goal, to grow together in Christ.
