Figures 6 through 10
Figure 6: General occupations of participants. The majority
were students. In later analysis, three groups were combined
because of the application of data from personal data sheets
indicating that the persons in the Other and Recent Grads
were all students at or near the time of the trip.
Figure 7: Household Income Ranges of Participants. This data
indicates a diverse range of reported household incomes while
data was not available from five participants.
Figure 8: Revised Household Income
Ranges of Participants. This data indicates the four major
income groupings.
Figure 9: Age Ranges of Participants. This chart indicates
the basic age ranges of participants in the Fiji Study Tour.
However, for analysis purposes, this data was combined into
three major areas, using further data from the personal data
sheets collected by the instructor prior to the trip. The
new age ranges were 14-26, 40-59, and 70 +.
