Hello - a short weekend message. All is quiet here except for the mends in
parliament. On TV last night we saw the first TV of the Prime Minister -
bearded and scruffy from the imprisonment. And the army gets tougher and
stopped ten Maori activists from landing in Fiji to support George Speight.
My own belief is that Speight and his gang can still be killers if the going
gets tough for them. But as we have said before, we take care and watch our
backs and now rely on the army for safety control. The curfew goes on - 8
p.m. to 6 am.
[My friend] goes away to Nadi for two days for a break. Then on Tuesday I go
to a
USP Tonga workshop for ten days.... I will be the first ... on the spot for
the
next pacific coup and will report live about the excitement!!!!!
Happy weekend
a friend
