I am glad you found the letter interesting and one that would be useful for
Fiji people to read. I have been in Fiji public service for over 20 years.
Apart from this I am from Vanua Levu, the second largest island and have
lived with the indigenous Fijians since my young age. It is sad to see that
they are being misled by people like Rabuka, Speight and others. A Fijian
like any other race has no other priority but to better his life and that of
his family. He knows he will have to work for it will not be given on a
platter as being promised by Speight. Hopefully Fiji will be able to work
out an administrative system acceptable to all but based democratic
Sorry to digress a little but I will be happy if you wish to copy the letter
on your website. It would provide information to readers on what has been
happening in Fiji on economic development area.
With kind regards,
