SUVA: The ban of Fiji cargo in and out of New Zealand has been lifted,
according to a major shipping company.

Radio Fiji reported today that P &O Lloyd shipping company had announced
that the company was now free to ship cargo in and out of the port of
Auckland.

Fiji's New Zealand High Commission Trade Commissioner, Ms Jo Mcevoy,
said that officials were happy that the trade ban imposed by unions in
New Zealand has been lifted.

Though the trade ban has been lifted, it is still yet to be seen whether
the sports ban on Fiji imposed by the New Zealand will be lifted.
