Jay is an artist of uncommon talent with an eye for capturing the beauty of pattern, color and light in the context of the underwater realm. Our families first met while living in Fiji when my oldest daughter, then 5 yrs old, broke her arm at school. Without a school nurse but with reasonable first aide skills, Jay's wife, Anne, another extraordinary person of many talents, delivered my daughter to our rented home and spotted our dive gear in the hallway.

We've been good friends ever since. They spent quite a few years in Fiji managing a live-aboard dive boat known as the Pacific Nomad, and later assisting in the transition to Fiji waters for the Nai'a, another live-aboard. They've since moved back to their home in Carmel Valley, California with their two beautiful children but Jay continues to explore the underwater world through his diving and photography. He'll even lead a specialized tour in diving the Fiji waters if you're interested! Jay's portfolio of underwater photography lends itself to both use in publications and fine art prints. Custom prints can be made to order.
