I offer these books as suggested reading for students and professional graphic designers alike as well as friends and associates of the industry who have an interest in visual communications. Though you may find that quite a few are said to be out of print, I list them here because, well, believe it or not, you are very likely to find them at your local bookstore. As large chains buy out remainders in bulk, many of the so-called "out of print" books will find their way to bookstore shelves. And, for those who don't have the time to search, Amazon.com offers a service for whereby they search out remainders and used-books suppliers to find a good quality copy of a title if you're really interested.
