This site was created with love in memory
of our daughter, Sophia Zartarian Nagle (December 4, 2003 – December
11, 2004), who left our earth far too soon due to Sudden Unexplained
Death in Childhood (SUDC). May Sophia’s sparkling eyes and
playful spirit shine upon us always.
The true story of Sophia and her big sister,
Isabelle, inspired our dear friend, Betsy Bottino Arenella, to
create Isabelle’s
Dream, a comforting, healing, inspiring story for bereaved
siblings aged three to 10. Quality
of Life Publishing published Isabelle’s Dream as a 64-page
story, art and activity book with beautiful ink illustrations by
artist Dana
Henderson.
We hope this book’s message of hope and eternal
love will bring solace not only to bereaved siblings, but also to
other family members, friends and communities facing the devastating
heartache of a child’s death. Betsy is donating all her
Isabelle’s
Dream proceeds to the Sudden
Unexplained Death in Childhood Program, which
offers SUDC families support, information, research and advocacy.
